Description
Waiting for the sunrise, I set my tripod not far from the towering cliffs that sharply drop into the restless ocean. The rocky coastline of the Algarve at Arrifana, laden with craggy outcrops, extends into the distance, creating a sense of depth and vastness that invites reflection. There’s a softness in the air, tempered by the remnants of rain and the muted light of a subdued sunrise. Rather than bold colors flooding the sky, gentle oranges and pale blues stretch overhead, suggesting a world waking slowly. The sea below moves with a steady, unhurried rhythm. In this moment, the landscape feels both intimate and expansive, a quiet meeting of earth and ocean where time seems to stretch just a little longer before the day truly begins.
