Quiet Moments

The quarantine presented an unexpected challenge and an opportunity to explore the possibilities of creating art within the confines of my own home. As a landscape photographer accustomed to capturing the beauty of distant vistas, the restrictions on travel left me searching for something different. Thus, I turned my lens towards the overlooked architecture just outside my windows, using techniques such as ICM and multiple exposures to create abstractions.

Abstract expressionist photography captures emotion, energy, and spontaneity through the lens. Each composition offers a unique journey into the artist’s inner landscape, inviting the viewer to explore the limitless possibilities of visual storytelling.

This new found fascination with creating abstracts from unconventional subjects led to the birth of a unique collection, entitled Quiet Moments. This collection became a visual metaphor for finding beauty in unexpected places
