Description
A tall, jagged rock rising from the ocean and its reflection beautifully mirrored in the wet sand below are the subject of this image from Bandon Beach, Oregon. The rock is silhouetted against the sky and sea. The reflection in the sand creates visual depth and balance and an atmosphere that feels both serene and powerful. Soft waves gently caress the shoreline, their movement captured with a long exposure that smooths out the water into a delicate mist-like texture. A cluster of storm clouds drifts slowly, their shapes mirroring the shape of the sea stack below.
