Description
During my recent trip to Ponta da Piedade, near Lagos, I spent time exploring several small, often overlooked beaches. Many of these spots are quite secluded, which gave me the chance to work without distractions and really focus on the environment. This particular photograph was taken at one of those beaches.
I chose to shoot it in black and white to emphasize the textures and shapes, rather than the colors. The large rock formation became my focal point, surrounded by the smooth, calm sea. It was a moment of stillness that felt quite natural there. It’s a subtle scene, but one that reflects the quiet beauty of that part of the world.
