Description
Fractal Lights is a metaphor for motion , the lively rhythm of evening traffic, the fleeting dance of car tail lights as they weave through the city at night. What drew me in was how these simple streaks of red and orange glow against the dark, like fleeting sparks in the urban pulse. The vertical lines in the image stretch and blur, reflecting the movement and energy of cars disappearing into the night, their shapes balancing between sharpness and shadow.
As I worked on this piece, I wanted to show that moment when the bustling city slows just enough for one to notice its quieter beauty. The warm hues – deep reds melting into soft oranges – create a glowing frame that feels alive yet calm. It’s this tension between motion and stillness that fascinates me: the constant flow of life on the streets, paired with those brief pauses where everything seems to hold its breath.
Fractal Lights invites you to step into this urban rhythm, to feel the layers of energy moving beneath the surface, and to appreciate the simple, poetic moments tucked inside the rush of night traffic.
