Description
Cascada Caprei, or Goat Waterfall, is a important natural feature located in the Făgăraș Mountains, part of the Southern Carpathians in Romania. This waterfall cascades gracefully down a series of jagged rocks, creating a soft, misty interplay between movement and texture. When I capture imagery here, I often use a long exposure technique that smooths the water’s surface, producing a dreamy, almost ethereal feeling to what is otherwise a dynamic scene.
The waterfall itself is not among the tallest in the region, but its charm lies in the ruggedness of the surrounding landscape and the way the water interacts with the rock formations. Făgăraș Mountains are known for their dramatic peaks and alpine scenery, which provide a beautiful backdrop for landscape photography. In terms of location, Cascada Caprei is accessible via hiking trails, making it a rewarding destination for those who appreciate natural beauty away from more crowded tourist spots.
