Description
“Golden Dreams” emerged from a process of layering multiple exposures combined with intentional camera movement, allowing the image to find its own rhythm. The warm, red-gold petals layered on canvas flicker like flames. They are not fresh, yet the color is still present. There’s a quiet energy, a sense of impermanence that felt important to capture. Instead of freezing a moment, the photograph embraces change and the beauty found in subtle transformation, much in line with the philosophy of Wabi Sabi.
What’s compelling to me is how light weaves through the layers, playing between clarity and blur. It’s not about sharp details, but about suggesting depth and movement, inviting the viewer to linger and explore. The swirling forms and soft textures point to something alive yet elusive, reflecting the natural cycles of growth and decay.
In this piece, I wanted to express a feeling rather than a fixed image, something that acknowledges beauty and its fleeting nature. It’s a quiet reminder that even in abstraction, there’s a grounding in the real and transient world around us. I hope it brings a thoughtful, contemplative moment to those who spend time with it.
